THE GIFT

It’s that time of year when many are preparing for Christmas day, decorating, cookie making, shopping, and wrapping, Christmas caroling, plays and concerts. It’s a season that we either anxiously await or a season that we detest and stress about.

Let’s take a look at the definition of Christmas. Wikipedia defines it as Christmas (Old English: Crīstesmæsse, meaning "Christ's Mass" is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and a widely observed holiday, celebrated generally on December 25 by billions of people around the world.

The dictionary defines it as the annual festival of the Christian church commemorating the birth of Jesus: celebrated on December 25 and now generally observed as a legal holiday and an occasion for exchanging gifts.

But sadly Christmas as become commercialized, money making holiday promoting a fat old man in a red suit bringing gifts to those who are on the nice list. But the true Christmas isn’t about Santa Claus giving gifts to those who are nice or all that leads up to it, but it is about what was freely and by grace given to us on December 25th and not because we are nice or we deserved it but because we have a father in heaven who loves us.

Matthew 1:21 and she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Jesus is the Gift of Christmas. Jesus is the gift with many functions and when we receive Him in our hearts, we will receive Salvation, Hope, Forgiveness, and Redemption from Every Curse, Deliverance, Peace and Joy.

1.       Receive the gift of Jesus into your life, for He was born to save you from your Sins, it was Jesus’ sole purpose on this earth to be born, die and be resurrected FOR YOU, so that you could be saved and have eternal life with the Father. John3:16.   Anoint yourself with THE GIFT essential oil and receive the ULTIMATE GIFT …. Jesus Christ!

2.       Receive the gift of HOPE through Jesus. When Christ is received you have the hope of plans and a future designed by God, when you call on Him and seek Him, you will find Him and the purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11-13Anoint yourself with HOPE EO today and put your HOPE in Him, call onto the Lord and seek Him with all your heart.

3.       Receive the gift of Forgiveness through Jesus. Ask forgiveness from your sin, and then God is faithful to forgives us.  I believe we need to forgive ourselves also, when we hold onto unforgiveness to others and ourselves we hinder the blessings (healing, deliverance, restoration, healed relationships, and prosperity) of God for our lives. Matt. 6:14, 15.  Anoint yourself with FORGIVENESS EO, confess your sins, ask for forgiveness and receive the blessings that come with the gift of Jesus.

4.       Receive the gift of redemption through Jesus.  Jesus took our curses when he hung on the tree. Galatians 3:13. Be redeemed us from curses of sin, sickness and disease, broken relationship, emotional turmoil, addictions and poverty. Isaiah 54:5, 2 Corinthian 8:9, Psalm 23:3, Psalm 32: 7. Jesus came and redeemed you so that you could have life and have it more abundantly. John 10:10. Anoint yourself with ABUNDANCE EO and receive the gift of the abundant life through Jesus.

5.       Receive the gift of JOY through Jesus. Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."Anoint yourself with JOY EO and receive the JOY of the Lord which strengthens us. Nehemiah 8:10

6.       Receive the gift of Peace through Jesus. You no longer have to be full of fear, anxiety or depression your emotions have been made whole.  Psalm 23:3. The more you receive the knowledge of who Jesus is and ALL that He has done for you, you will receive peace in abundance. Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27. Anoint yourself with PEACE AND CALMING OIL and receive the peace of God today.

So this Christmas RECEIVE THE GIFT OF JESUS!  Anoint yourself with VALOR EO and remove all fear, the perfect love of Jesus casts out all fear, 1 John 4:18.

Anoint yourself with HUMILITY EO and humble yourself before the Lord today, Psalms 25:9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

Anoint yourself with SURRENDER EO and Surrender to the Lord today, James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Anoint yourself with BELIEVE EO and believe that the gift of Jesus is yours this Christmas. John 6:47—Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

On Christmas Morning do steps 1-5 Anointing yourself  while thanking Jesus for the gift of Salvation, Hope, Forgiveness, Redemption, Joy and Peace that comes from Him and Him alone, this is what Christmas is all about, a child who was born for a sole purpose to save us! Amen!
